Resistance test

On this test you can see the reaction of polycarbonate 1 mm, 3 mm laminated glass and plexi 2 mm during the impact of steel ball. Thanks to its toughness 1mm polycarbonate just bends and prevents steel ball passing through. In sample 2 mm plexiglass and laminated glass 3 mm we can see how the ball flies through easily even though these materials are coarser.

Thanks to the excellent characteristics of polycarbonate we can afford to use materials with less thickness.
